The Cancer Male (dead accurate) and his night of procrastination...

Instead of working on my English project, I have spent the whole night procrastinating. Searching for more information about the Illuminatis, The Web-Bot Project, higher consciousness (next human evolution?), one thing led to another, got into 2012, 11:11, the Mitchel-Hedges Skull, led to another, etc etc.

Came across this great site which I linked @ people's blogs. The hypothetical conclusions I have came to myself about spirituality, life, science, religion, unexplained phenomenas and just everything in general is pretty much the same (I wouldn't say 100% since I could not read ALL his posts) as what that blogger believes. Fascinating.

Still skeptical about astrology, but came across this about Cancer males which I thought was pretty much spot on. It's pretty long so I will just link it here instead of copy and pasting the whole thing on my blog.

Had a blast at first. Was fun. Notice the "was"

Until someone asked me if I knew the guy. I'm like no.... who is that? Then again someone else asked if I should check on my friend i'm like i don't know the guy... Then I found out it was 1.7 again. Bouncer came soon after and told me he had to go, carried him out, i followed. Grabbed people, nobody wanted to care (to be honest including myself, such fun at the time).

Then my other half of the night was at the staircase for him to barf on me and watch him barf. With him sleeping on the streets, finding a cab, carrying him, getting pissed, etc etc etc... Lots of fights could've happened.

Definitely a night to remember.

so much more stuff to add, but kinda drunk and tired... work in 6 hours for a 12+ hours shift. diu..... guess I will add the rest as i remember later on.

Large Hadron Collider

Today (yesterday) was the first firing of the LHC. It is a gigantic machine that smashes atoms together, creating the state of the universe in billionths of a second after the big bang. Ultimately hoping to discover the Higgs boson or "the god particle".

Mankind still does not have a clue on just how much we don't know about the universe and what we really are. The universe is stranger than you think... by far.

It has been a while, got a ticket for "excessive noise" when it really was a street racing. Luckily I have a clean driving record (all the old ones were erased) and i am a hard working good guy.

this post originally was about me bitching about it, but now that all the stuff is over and done with. its just made the reward more rewarding. It all doesn't seem to matter now. Ticket can be paid, going to garage tomorrow so i guess i can (and would) do other errands at the same time, blow water for a bit, no work tomorrow, etc.

So there are both good and bad things that happens everyday, you chose to have a bad day when you are having a bad day because you wouldn't look at things at the positive side and only remembering and focusing on the bad sides only. what am i talking about, don't know or care if it makes sense or not... i'm going to sleep...

things happening in the world today are getting scarily close to what the bible describes as the judgement day. final battle between the east and the west (ww3 - which i swear its coming or has already started), good vs evil, nature's getting more messed up (increase in natural disasters), and some more, i forgot.

Dreaming of marriage.

Whoa!!!

Just got woken up from a crazy ass dream from my colleague asking me to switch shifts. In it I am supposed to get married to my biu so's sister (or cousin). It's marriage day and I was so scared to marry her because I don't even know her.

It was one of those too real dreams. We talked finance and date and everything already. People's gave me serious talks; they came to find me at work and I was acting all awkward and all. Pressure was on through the roof because I did not want to cancel and disappoint everyone on the last minute including my own family, and how am I going to face them afterwards but I kept thinking how do I get out of this.

After the call I ran over to my sister's room asking if such a person even exists. Turns out she only has an older sister (in my dream the person was more of my age group) and she's already married and she's got kids.

Thank God!!!

On another note, watching Olympics in HD is very sweet. Go China! Screw the Tibet freedom people, its a part of a country that wants to separate, of course they're not going to let it separate just because they want to. It is a part of the country! Let's show the world and the corrupted US what we got (bring politics into Olympics, that's low). We do have our issues, but stop trying to add oil to the fire now, we know the tension is high because we're taking away all the money in the world now. Hah! slept at the security office for a while, chilled and chat with the security afterwards. taxied over to my hk friend's place. just got back now, finally took a shower (crazy hot yesterday and humid). need some sleep. i'm out.

Family day

Family day today, something which I think I should've done more often in HK. Rarely ate at home, spending time with family, always going out.

Bought alot of electronic gadgets and underwear and socks (awesome!).

But this also gives me some time to watch some Carl Sagan videos. Man he really was a bright man.

Looking at the whole universe, we are not even specs. This just makes the whole racial and the conflicts amongst ourselves meaningless and it'll only drive us to our own extinction. We are too proud of a species.

Went to sight see @ "Koo Gung". Wow, the history overhwelmed me.

First night in Beijing

First of all, I woke up @ 9.30 when my flight was @ 11. Then I have a very soar throat for the past few days, so I rushed to the doctor's, then I rushed to call a cab. When I got to the airport, I still craved for a smoke, so I went for one, and I barely made it on the flight to BJ.

When I got there, I ate @ this place called Balargio's. It looked very 6 stars and I thought it's gonna blow my cash. But then it turned out to be very cheap, and the place was rediculously nice! Afterwards, we went to Lotus Market/Lake to browse around with Dave and Tim, Kent's right, I did learned alot and I have seen alot I have never seen before.

Afterwards, we ate at some place according to tim its called "9 door small eat", it was very interesting and I have been acting like a tourist (fool says tim) the whole timeHowever, when we reached Vics, I'm not the fool no more. I had more fun than chris, so fuckyou chris! i'm trashed. hahahhahahaha. Time to blaze again MFs! hahahaha!

Kids these days...

Was at Pak Lai Wan (well, alot of places actually) with Tim, until he noticed a kid (boy or TB) around like 9 or 10 years old smoking (but coughing also). I wanted to go smack him/her across the face and ask if he's even got some mo jais grown out of him yet.

I wanted to get at least a picture of that kid, but I was dragged away...

Cool thing is that he/she's got 3 other older girls with him.

Very, very scary day...

Had dinner with my family at grandparent's student's restaurants. Great food, then went to his other student's desert place.

So we were having a desert, all having a good time. Until suddenly Chun Chun said very softly, "where am i? who am i?" and just put his head back and looked at the ceiling.

We all thought he just wanted some attention because his mom just yelled at him. Until Big wing noticed he's been staring at the celing for a long time. We called him, he didn't reply. I still thought he was just unhappy or trying to hold his tears back or something.

Until when even his mom called him he didn't reply, and my aunt and uncle whose nurses went up to him and started talking to him. I see that his eyeball does not move at all and that he begins to turn more and more pale. Aunt said we needed to call ambulance. I took the kids who were all crying at this time to the car, and saw the ambulance drove by us... when the ambulance came again, i thought about taking a picture. But I thought it wouldn't be appropriate...

Grandparents headed home with 3e. chun's dad went with him to ambulance, mom came with us to grab his documents. dropped me and the kids @ tseun wan.

he woke up and realized where he was on the ambulance, but he still needed to stay a night in the hospital and get checked out. Aunt came to the conclusion is that its probably because his brain "chow gun" and shut down.

Very, very, very scary...

First night of party in HK

as really pissed off yesterday morning, but it still turned into a pretty fun night after all. 

Another back blogging about what I did yesterday (May 28).  At my blogger friend's place right now (no we didn't meet thru blogging haha) because I couldn't go home.  As Nas says "151 one sip is enough to make a nigga flip"  yup.....  LOL.

Chilled by myself to get flu tea for a bit.  Went to pui gramps to play chess, ate with chris, went to find Calv and see his place.  Went for a "light drink" @ 21:21, then went to Beijing club (was great) afterwards went to Tsui Wah for siu yeah.

Lame... Guess I should pack more of my stuff. Less than a week until HK, and I have to say goodbye to this house before I leave.

Thinking outside the box - Science, religion, and philosophy

Just random things I was thinking of or thought about.

This thought came to me while I was waiting for my drumstick barbecue rice. Waiting for a long time, I started looking at the bubbles at the fish tank.

Looking something as simple as water bubbles, you can see the forces of nature at work. The bubbles would become attracted to other bubbles and accelerate, merging together into bigger bubbles. You see the force of gravity and the theory of everything at work. You can also see that there is a complex mathematical formula for how and why it happened. Although I do not know what it is, but you can tell from the paths the bubbles travel and how they merge. Mean while, since I believe you have to understand infinity to understand what a circle is (pi is never ending), circle is infinity. My next thought was...

There is nothing to our knowledge with the power of "infinity". Even the size of our universe is finite. Only way we can find infinity is through black holes, which are suggested to us that the gravity is so strong that it tears ourspace time, into other fabrics of spacetime. So to fully understand the Theory of Everything in our universe and our nature. We need to understand what infinity really is.

As science advances more and more, you realize that it is actually getting closer and closer to philosophy. Maybe some old civilization would understand and harness the power of nature better than modern science as they are more one with the earth. Just that they died out how we are going to through global warming.

And since I'm ranting about thoughts, here's another thought on religion and mankind.

There is no God. If there is, based on my Christian background, does it mean that all the good people from other good religions are going to hell? I refuse to believe so, even if such a stuck up God exists, then there is no need to believe in it. Religion is a method to control people, to keep people in line.

The only way that I can accept a God is if all religions leads you to the same place in the afterlife or whatever. It is just through time and culture does it gets translated differently, to gain more acceptance to more cultures. If there is a heaven, and I could say I have been a good person. I am going there. There is no need for worships.

Maybe the next big human evolution would come sooner than you think. Maybe we really would experience a shift in consciousness triggered in 2012. Not too surprising considering we are only using 20% of the brain and we have no idea how it works or what the other 80% of its functions does. There is a purpose to why we have such a large brain, but why? Consciousness and "soul" is my guess.

So again, it is not surprising if some older civilization would understand nature better than we do now.

Just because we exist and have have always existed in the modern times doesn't mean it would always stay the same in the future. There's a lot more to my thoughts, I just do not know how to fully explain myself. To do so I would have to sit down, really think about what it is I am saying, and write an essay. Not going to happen, this is just my blog.

This is why I am "spiritual, not religious" on facebook.

I know I havn't blogged for a while, nothing too special. Just drinking here and there and work. But pissed right now so just have to vent a little.

Apparently my dad is pulling his stupid bullshit again. Just found out mom's car is gone today and we have an Oddessy now. wtf...

New house is here!

April 28, 2008. Got keys to the new house. Went over to take a look, not bad. But I am so sick of moving all the time already... With HK coming up, I only have a month to move everything in.

My day off!

So yesterday (April 25th) was my day off this week. A bunch of people came over to my house, and I went clubbing later on at night. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I had fun indeed.

My ride is back too!

Spent whole day washing and waxing my car the whole day on April 22. With the car looking good, I decided to put the rims back on, screw the worn tires. With the car having rims and everything, I started to care for it once again...

So I went on TCC (Toronto Civics Club) to post a WTB eg cargo cover. Because it was stolen from my car, odd that they don't steal my car but steal the trunk cover huh? Got a text message at 1.30 saying a guy's got the trunk. Ran a crazy mission with Timmy all the way to Pickering at 2am to pick up my cargo cover.

Funny mission tho, when we both missed the highway exit to and from Pickering (I drove to, he drove from). And some dumbass driver keeps stopping at stop signs and signaling in my underground parking. Haha.

My boy is back!

Been sidetracked in my studies because I was discussing about cars with my friend. Spent so much time looking at cars stuff. Damn. To seem like a less waste of time, let me blog this out.
Veyron Targa - Knew this was going to happen. Only a matter of time before the oil kings grew tired of their normal Veyrons.Hope I can get this by next summer. I'd be 25, cheap insurance.Read that Frankie Muniz (Malcom in "Malcom in the Middle") wants to quit acting and become a race car driver. And he spent $100,000 buying this Fast and the Furious Jetta (base model, base engine, auto tranny). He obviously doesn't know shit about cars and should just stick to acting. He mentioned that he hates teenagers because they're very stupid and immature, such a hypocrite when he's a stupid kid himself. Just a rich stupid kid.

Weather was awesome. So glad spring is here, feel so much happier and alive.

Woke up bright and early despite working and drinking till late (early) to do this group project. Worked very hard on it.

And.....Sold the 黎明!!! Wasn't even going to let those guys see the car too because I was on my way to school for the project. So glad I did. 2 weeks, almost 50% R.O.I. Where are you going to find that?

One of my bests is coming back to T.O. on Thurs too. Can't wait.

Quite a bit of couples out today tho. But fuck them, nothing is going to stop my great day.

Now all I have to do is finish my exams on Wednesday...

I'm pretty ready for HK now, so excited. KMA you'd better be ready, we'll be sleeping on the streets soon.

New House

Treated mom to yum cha because I havn't yum cha in a while. After we went here.

The new house, the one with the yellow.....(what do you call this?) on the driveway. Moving in soon. Pretty excited for it. The place I live at right now is very convenient, I get to work in under 10 and school in under 5 minutes, but it is just a little too small for my family and our junk.

Been in Canada 12 years, I've moved 8 times. A little excessive and very annoying.

Been around the GTA

Went everywhere on Saturday! First I went to Mississauga to pick up my ownership, only to be told they mailed it to me already, so we went next door to eat at Teriyaki. It was my first time eating there, since I only see that place at food courts and I'd usually have a Taco Bell combo 4. So without my ownership, we went downtown to play with my friend's RC truck. Only to have him damaging the suspension on a brick within 5 minutes. Look how sad and unhappy it looks.
With that, we head to Scarborough to buy parts to fix up the truck. Went to a guy's house to fix up the truck, that's where the fun begins!Not sure who this little girl is, but we taught her to jab pencils up people's ass at school if people piss her off, or to get A+ because the teacher will thank you for making him/her feel good. And to practice say "fuck you" to the dog to get the dog or her friends to obey you. Cute girl, very fun to play with. Laughed my ass off. I'm going to hell...

Caffeine high

Made my co-worker some crazy espressos on Friday. She drank it all like a man! Respect. First it was a triple ultra short espresso. After was an amaretto pentuple (five) short. Purely insane...

Dining Etiquettes

My Interpersonal Communication course's prof happened to be organizing an event on Thursday that teaches students dining etiquettes. I have learned my dining etiquettes from grandpa since I was young, but considering that it has been a while and I would need to go into the business world soon (hopefully), it wouldn't be a bad idea to go and refresh my etiquettes.
This is the University of Toronto Faculty Club. Pretty fancy place, considering there's mouth wash in the washroom! However the food was just terrible, not that I didn't expect it to be, so had to go to the Korean town at Bloor to down a noodle afterwards.

So what have I learned about etiquettes? Absolutely nothing. However, I did enjoy the experience and the chance to network with other students and professors. But one thing good to remember about etiquettes is that:
BD - bread and butter on the left, drinks on the right. Or,
BMW - bread, meal, water (from left to right)

Missed me?

So a couple of you have asked me if I've stopped blogging (thanks for caring). So the answer is no, I still like to take pictures, and I enjoying sharing with you lot even more. Just that been pretty busy/lazy lately so haven't been updating it.

Been pretty busy lately, not much time to chill around the computer to blog. Speaking of which, my computer seriously sucks, just had the video card replaced a month ago, now the sound card is broken and I have no sound. So no more games, funny sites, and youtube anymore...

Sunday night after work, very surprised. The highest class set of cutleries I have ever seen at Train! Real spoons and expensive disposable chopsticks!!!
Backtracking my memories to Monday... picked up my shit box. As seen here with my friend's shit box.So afterwards, took it to my friend's garage to have the battery connector replaced, and my Lai Ming starts up every time! So went and "broke it in" a little, "Hot box in the shit box" a little. Now to get some decent pictures of it to post on trader.

Now today. WHAT A BITCH PROF! This is the first class which I feel that I would fail not because I deserved to fail, but it's actually because of the prof. Did all the work I can honestly say I am proud of and I still expect to fail, so is 80+% of the class... The class was so mad today that we're going to have a petition and talk with the dean. Serious stuff. Guess this would delay when I graduate again... Today we grade her as well, I wonder if I would still see her again next semester.

Easter long weekend

Thursday:
Jessy's birthday party, went after an insane day at work. We all got pretty drunk. Good times.

Friday:
Since I drank the night before, I woke up extra early. I don't know why, when I drink I really couldn't sleep for long. Called Kevin to go lunch and gym as promised. That is where I saw this: (Car fans, I'm sure you know what this is.)
Birthday party again, then went to N16 (yeah, long story). That night was my third time passing out ever, man was that stuff hardcore... and damn the strobe lights and DJ Tiesco. But when I snapped back up an hour later I felt so refreshed.

Saturday:
The beauty of long weekend, where it feels like a Sunday already but yet you have another day of break ahead of you. Happy times. Only slept for a little bit again the night before. Woke up bright and early again to go check out a car auction, never been to one and was pretty excited, although still slightly drunk. And at the auction, I bought a car (98 Plymouth Neon) for the hell of it. Baller aren't I? :PAt night, I went over to N16 to help out again. Was pretty burnt and tired already around 2, but couldn't leave until 7.30. Not that I couldn't, but I just can't leave Big Water there by himself with the whole place and so much people. I'm getting the hang of this bar tending business a lot more now. If anything it's just a test of patience and knowing where everything is. Getting a lot better at it. But annoying customers all night long during round 2. Now I totally understand what Water meant, that owning a bar is not as fun nor as glamorous at it seems.

Sunday:
Woke up, was excited to get to finally eat some real legit Phở, not Pho. However the place we wanted to go is at Weston road, and our friend has to go into work at 6. So we couldn't make it and went to eat Jack Astor's for lunch (breakfast, tea, whatever), first time going to Jackass for lunch. Went home afterwards, did a little bit of chores and typed this blog. Have to go into work soon, really tired and sick for work.

I've been sick for the past week already, but yet always not sick enough. I wish I can just get really sick tomorrow so I can just go to the doctor's and get some antibiotics and get this over with. Lesson learned, never eat hot pot with a sick guy.

Antibiotics and our environment:
Speaking of antibiotics, you (whoever reading this) should buy less meat that are from animals that were fed antibiotics. When antibiotics came out, people thought it was a miracle drug that could cure and prevent anything. So we use it on everything and anything, including feeding our livestocks with it. However, if you don't completely kill off the bacteria with antibiotics, they learn to adapt and evolve into super bacterias that would become immune to the antibiotic. So you could not be cured the next time you need to use antibiotics. And as of now, we (the globe) has already overused the quota for antibiotics already, it can be found in our water, animals, and plants. And currently, the bacterias are mutating faster than we can come up with new antibiotics.

I forgot where I have read or heard of this, but the guy's right. "The generations after us will remember us as the generation that had it all but threw it all away." Not only have we fail to see our path towards extinction, but we are also destroying the hope for chances of survival for future generations. Maybe this is how other Type 1 civilizations ends as well. Take a look outside our sheltered cities once in a while, through National Geographic or Planet Earth (an EXCELLENT blu-ray documentry on our world), you would see how small we really are and that the urban image is not what the world really is.

Testing. Testing. Mic check, mic check...

So my friend bought a bar recently (now sold again), and on the last day I was asked to man the bar for him. Sure I've been there enough to know where things are, but without any previous bar tending experience (Swiss Chalet doesn't count), I naturally don't know how ANYTHING goes. All I know are karaoke drinks. And this is some of the stuff I was faced with...... Obviously I was very slow and didn't know much and my friend (the owner) wasn't much help either because he's busy going around. Luckily the Focus people got off work and came over and got all of them to help me out. So I still survived.... somehow. However, despite however hectic it was (didn't really get much chances to drink myself), the experience was great. Learned quite a bit about doing bars.

Obviously I didn't want to get paid. So I took this cool bubbly lamp instead. Just had to clean up a little bit of blood stains when I took it home.
